Magma is simple and elegant, yet pushes boundaries at the same time. The fingerboard extends all the way to the bridge pickup, effectively becoming a thumb rest with the continuous wood grain and radius of the ziricote fretboard.
I did another take on my tapered neck stringer design that I first used on the Big Wu bass. On this bass, the center padauk wedge comes to a point in the middle of the neck.
