This is a handmade guitar pick necklace made from Myrtle Burl wood. The wood comes from the burls that grow on Oregon Myrtle trees. Many of these picks will have beautiful burl figure and a mix of light to medium color tones!
You can choose the cord that your pick will come with. I am offering the option of either a 20″ waxed cord or an adjustable nylon cord. Please choose the type and color of cord you would like with your necklace and I will get your order put together and shipped out to you!
To let me know which cord you would like, please add a note to the order under the Shipping section during checkout. See the Cord Options image for the color codes. If you would like me to choose the cord for you, type “Surprise me!” An order without a note will receive a black 20″ cord with their pick.
I am making these picks by hand, so availability is limited. I will update the quantity available as more picks are completed.

These picks are intended to be worn as necklaces only. Myrtle burl is not strong enough to play guitar with. I will not accept returns due to damage caused by playing guitar with the necklace.
If you would like to purchase a necklace with a playable pick, I would recommend choosing a stronger wood option such as Ebony, African Blackwood, or Purpleheart. If you don’t see one of these options available, I will likely be releasing them in the near future.

Due to being made from wood, each pick will have its own unique look. The grain pattern, figure, and color may be different from one pick to the next. The necklace that you receive may not be the one pictured, however I did include a sample picture of a variety of picks to show the overall variety available.
Since these are handmade, each pick may vary slightly in size and shape. They may not be an exact match to the standard shape of the plastic picks that are widely available.
